MACHINE OPERATOR

Electronic machine operators, also known as machine operators, are responsible for safely and efficiently operating machinery during production.

Responsibilities include:

Set up and operate Automatic and Semi-Automatic machines for operation.
Using specialty machinery, such as feeding raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines
Checking parts for precision using measuring tools, and output for flaws
Keeping records of approved and defective units, and maintaining activity logs
Works from process sheets or written instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks
Checks and inspects operations against predetermined tolerances.
Follow all Company Safety and ESD Program requirements. Responsible for reporting all accidents, near misses, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
Properly handle and dispose of all waste, including hazardous wastes that are generated in daily operations as directed by applicable SOP(s).

Education and Experience:

Experience as a Machine Operator mandatory
High School or GED
6 months minimum experience in contract manufacturing
