Job Description:
- Reviewing customer demands and monitoring raw material and component orders and stocks to ensure timely delivery supporting production schedules by expediting materials deliveries
- Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule
- Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production
- Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement
- Minimize obsolete stock and ensure business is left with minimum liability
- Create regular statistical reports and analysis and update Program Manager (PM) or customers
- Coordinate with the Program management & production team to meet customer orders.
- Analyze the availability of materials & provide clear to build (CTB) to production planner in order to develop an aggressive but achievable production schedule.
- Run weekly system reports to determine (potential) materials shortages that need to be expedited.
- To ensure accuracy of CTB report by validating report.
- Follow-up with appropriate buyers to ensure materials are available to support production use per load plan.
- Expedite materials as required or otherwise work with buyers for any order cancellations as required per demand change.
- Liaise with PM and engineer on materials related issues, smooth phase in & phase out of products Engineering Change Notice (ECN) with minimize excess and obsolescence of materials (E&O).
- Provide EnO reason & request for scrap
Job Requirement:
- Min Bachelor Degree with relevant fields
- Minimum 2 years working experience/ minimum 5 years working experience
