Sr Program Administrator

 

Job Purpose:

Interacts with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales service functions.  Receives customer requests and prepares documents/trouble tickets related to processing returns (RMA), servicing and exchanges.  Updates databases with status of returned materials issues and accounts for returns inventory.  Records and reports the status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedules.  Ensure service information accessible by sorting and filing documents/forms.  May schedule field service repair calls.  Handles requests for additional company materials.  Maintains records of returns, schedule changes, product enhancements or changes and product pricing, and resolves return credit problems.

 

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

The Sr Program Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Program Manager.  The following delineates the key roles and responsibilities of the Program Administrator:

  Supply Commits

o   Administer the supply-commit process

o   Coordinate the supply-commit process in conjunction with purchasing, planning, production & program management

o   Communicate order status and commits to customer

o   Coordinate commit improvement/reschedule requests

o   Escalate to the respective Program Manager and other relevant plant personnel in resolving any demand and supply conflicts

o   Facilitate the resolution of any ‘standard’ planning / ordering requests with the customer and the site

o   Establish a formal commit communication with the customer (weekly, daily)

  Demand Management

o   Utilize the backlog analyzer to improve order management performance

o   Understand the customer contract terms and its implications on the order process

o   Understand the product lead-time portfolio and its implications on the order process

o   Maintain complete and detailed files on all customer demand and resulting MDS/MRP execution

o   Generate and maintain the respective customer’s waterfall analysis

  Customer Management

o   Escalation to the respective Program Manager any potential customer care issues between SANMINA-SCI and the customer

o   Participate in the generation of the quarterly customer account reviews to the customer

o   Support operations in all customer related activities

o   Build and promote a healthy business relationship between SANMINA-SCI and the customer

o   Coordination of all Engineering Changes including as how it relates to Product deliveries, pricing, etc.

  Customer Reporting/Administration

o   Coordination of all Customer reports. Reports prepared by appropriate CFT Owner and issued to Customer on time

o   Support QBR preparation

o   Maintenance of Customer report profile: detail report, content, owner and frequency of distribution

Education/Experience

4-6 years program administrator experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with computers and Microsoft; word, excel.
