Job Description: Junior ERP Functional Consultant (2-4 Years Experience) This job description is for a junior-to-mid-level Functional Consultant focused on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. The ideal candidate will combine functional business process knowledge with technical proficiency in SQL, Stored Procedures, and Cloud fundamentals to support system implementations and optimizations. Summary We are seeking a motivated ERP Functional Consultant with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our Support / Implementation team. This role serves as a vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that ERP solutions are configured to meet operational requirements while leveraging modern cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Functional & Consulting
● Requirement Gathering: Interface with business users to document current (AS-IS) and future-state (TO-BE) workflows within the ERP ecosystem.
● System Configuration: Execute functional setups and configurations within ERP modules based on validated business requirements.
● Gap Analysis: Identify discrepancies between standard ERP functionality and business needs, recommending solutions that prioritize standard features over heavy customization.
● Testing & Quality Assurance: Create and perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system behavior.
● Documentation: Maintain essential project artifacts, including functional design specifications and configuration workbooks. Technical & Cloud Integration
● Database Operations (SQL): Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data, troubleshoot application errors, and validate backend configurations.
● Logic Development: Utilize Stored Procedures and basic PL/SQL logic to support data transformations, custom validations, and interface development.
● Cloud Maintenance: Apply Cloud Basics to navigate cloud consoles, manage environment settings, and understand the architecture of SaaS/PaaS ERP deployments.
● Data Migration: Assist in the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of legacy data into the ERP system, ensuring high levels of data integrity. Required Skills and Experience
● Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional experience in ERP functional consulting, support, or implementation.
● ERP Domain Knowledge: Proven functional understanding of core business processes such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), or SCM in any major ERP (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
● Database Proficiency: ○ Advanced SQL skills, including the use of joins, subqueries, and analytical functions.
○ Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting Stored Procedures.
● Cloud Literacy: Fundamental understanding of cloud computing concepts (e.g., identity management, environments/instances, and cloud storage).
● Tools: Familiarity with database management tools like SQL Developer, Toad, or similar IDEs.
● Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical business users. Preferred Qualifications
● Functional experience with any ERP.
● Technical proficiency in SQL and Stored procedures.
● Certification in a specific ERP cloud module or Cloud Infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or OCI).
