Quote Analyst: Responsible for the preparation and coordination of Request for Quotations (RFQ's) for materials components, subassemblies and/or services based on quote requirements received from various departments within the organization (i.e. Program Management, Sales). Analyzes quotations for content in addition to preparing complete costs analyses. Defines needs, clarifies discrepancies and determines the structure of BOM. Monitor RFQ through process and resolve issues that come up. Complete costing information including generation of costed BOM's, identifying exceptions and assumptions, and identifying and documenting all unique costs and issues. Responsible for supplier selection, make/buy decisions, interfacing with sales and customer to resolve issues. At the highest level, may also be responsible for watching technology trends and preparing cost reduction and other recommendations based on those trends.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing, coordinating, and calculating the selling prices for each FG Model in the Customer catalog during a determined period. 

• Lead and manage meetings with other departments regarding quarterly and semi-annual requotes, CBOM downloads and rollups, Standard Hours, and Cost Model negotiations with Sales and the Customer. 

• Revision, updates and application of cost models within different Re-quote processes.

• Review and calculate the Gross Margin for each Customer. 

• Knowledge & performance of weekly and monthly reports, including: Negative Margins, ERP Analysis, Multicosts, NREs, PPVs, FX Rates, Reclassifications, Inventory Revaluations, Sales Adjustments, etc. 

• Cost Analysis in DM and MVA to apply Cost Reductions. 

• Monitor, review and approve ECRs that affect the DM or Labor.

• Bachelors Degree

• Customer Service

• Working under pressure

• Knowledge & Adjust all financial variables 

• Monitor and continuous improvement in PPV

• Bilingual (English Spanish)

• Proficient Excel

• Analytic (Cost Analyst)

• Background as accountant  or experience 5 years
