Order Processing Support

5A (Monday-Friday)

 

Job Purpose:


Processes orders for materials or merchandise from sales staff or direct customer contact. Maintains customer files with sales contracts and other information. Gives price quotations, completes order sheets and checks the price and quantity of each item listed. Distributes order sheets to respective departments. May coordinate with departments regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability and back orders.

 

Nature of Duties and Skills

Entering orders, order changes, forecasts and price lists into the Operational Control System and Support Systems, updating the data entered, recycling the PEX forms

  •  Managing the order confirmation process and communicating with the customer about partial shipment approvals
  •  Rescheduling the orders (backlog)
  •  Updating the backlog issue log
  • Ask plant internal approvals for ordering and forecasting changes
  • Maintain forms parameters in Oracle, print and send by PM instructions, collecting signatures in form 
  • Ability to perceive order processing and its importance as a subscription / delivery process
  • Ability to adapt to work according of the process
  • Excel skills
  • Critical work order tracking (production or RMAs)
  • Validation, loading and modification of purchase orders
     

 Education/Experience

 6 months - 1 year of experience

This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
