Lab Technician Lead
Job Purpose:
To lead the micro-sectioning and chemical analysis lab, ensuring accurate and timely sample preparation for both final product inspection and in-process evaluation. This lead will drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize lab processes, enhance quality control, and support manufacturing operations.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities
- Prepare and evaluate cross sections for all shipments required
- Complete the proper evaluation forms, reports, and be able to perform data entry
- Thermal stress samples as needed
- Must be able to utilize AA equipment and run chemical analysis using CVS equipment.
- Familiarity with True Cham software, a plus
- Work closely with Manufacturing Supervisors to prioritize repairs and maintain production flow
- Must be flexible to work overtime as business needs require
- Proactively identify potential issues and take corrective action to ensure product quality
Education and Experience
- Associates Degree or equivalent circuit board experience preferred
- Minimum of 4-6 years PCB Manufacturing experience required
- Candidate must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and or PowerPoint) and the use of shop floor software to complete transactions in Oracle and other MRP systems.
- Ability to read and understand Customer specifications
- Ability to evaluate relevant cross section testing to IPC 6012
- Must be able to perform repetitive lifting and grinding to prepare cross sections
- Ideal candidate must have strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and other stakeholders to create a collaborative and productive work environment
- Must be flexible to work overtime as business needs require

Salary Range(annual): $ 52, 000 - $66,560. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
