Duties of Position: (Include specific duties and responsibilities)
The Senior Systems Engineer for Regulatory Compliance works with Project Engineers and Program Managers to ensure products and processes adhere to legal, safety,
and industry standards (e.g., Safety, EMC, UL, RoHS, REACH) throughout the product development lifecycle. They collaborate with engineering teams to review designs,
manage certification documentation, and liaise with external testing laboratories to facilitate market approvals. They are responsible for development of robust system
specifications that can be effectively tested through the design verification process and be compliant to applicable domestic and international safety standards. 
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but may not be limited to, the following: 
• Works with a design team through full product development and into production to ensure compliance to all applicable, worldwide compliance and regulatory
requirements.
• Coordinates all compliance and regulatory system level activities with the Project Managers, Mechanical, Software, and Electrical Engineers
• Determines the applicable international safety and regulatory constraints for the product to ensure timely incorporation of these constraints into the system
requirements.
• Conducts or manages Safety, EMC, UL, FCC and Environmental compliance tests and prepares technical documentation for certification
• Works with development and manufacturing teams to integrate compliance measures early in the design process
• Identifies potential compliance failures, conducts audits, and creates remediation plans.
• Prepares and maintains compliance records, technical files, and regulatory submissions.
• Provides technical input to help identify and solve project risks that may affect overall project plans and schedules
• Light to moderate travel to company, customer and other facilities. May be international.

Qualifications Required: (Education, experience, skills, etc. Please be specific)

To be considered for this position, a candidate will possess, and demonstrate, the following skills, education, experience level and characteristics: 
• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation
• 8+ years work experience in electronics product engineering and product safety, regulatory affairs, or testing environments.
• Requires knowledge on product development life cycle, including concept to product realization
• Datacenter, Server and Storage products and Computing product design experience, and Risk Management activities
• Ability to communicate complex regulations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEC/UL 62368-1, EN, ISO, BIS, CE, ANSI) and RoHS, REACH compliance
• Experience with test agencies like TUV, UL, or CSA is a major plus
• Defines the regulatory roadmap for new product categories
• Ability to drive regulatory strategy and decision-making autonomously
• Must be able to manage and resolve conflicting product and project requirements
• Requires good knowledge on ISO Quality management system (QMS)
• Proven ability to rapidly assimilate into complex, ongoing technical projects
• Ability to interface effectively with customers, cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and vendors from various countries
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
