Document Control – Turtle Lake, WI
Job Purpose:
The Document Control Specialist, acting as a liaison between the Engineering and Manufacturing teams, is responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting, and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation (engineering drawings, projects reports, specifications, product proposals, etc) produced by technical teams, projects or departments in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

Sets up and maintain documents, parts and products in AGILE system
● Assign item#s as requested for purchased components such as packing, inserts, etc.
● Assign item#s as requested for resin, dyes, and blends
● Assign item#’s as requested for new make items, subassemblies, and assemblies
● Assign new tool numbers as requested and add new tool info to the Part Information System.
● Utilize Smartloader when mass updates need to be made in Oracle (i.e. Fixed Day Supply changes)
● Sets up and maintains part numbers and their parameters (UM, LT, Cost, etc.) in ORACLE
● Create BOM, part numbers, assembly numbers, including setting up item attributes such as lead time, labor time, test times, etc.
● Creates and maintains routings: Enters routing information into ORACLE
● Reviews and scrutinizes component parts and BOMs against existing AGLIE/ORACLE to prevent part number duplication and performs updates
● Transfers documents, parts and products from legacy systems to AGILE and ORACLE as needed
● Initiate engineering change orders (ECO) and manage their routing, ensuring their timely review and implementation. Implements document, material master and BOM updates and changes based on ECO instructions -
● Review and maintain various documents such as drawings, manufacturing specifications and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory documentation standards.
● Collect and maintain files of the latest revision level documentation necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes
● Responsible for database integrity by ensuring adherence to number formatting including RoHS revision, customer codes and product revisions.
● Review approved documents for accurate format, and signatures
● Collaborate with cross functional teams to create and produce documents that reflect departmental and company-wide processes and conform to the requirements of the electronic documentation system
● Ensure all Document Control systems are appropriately maintained and up-to-date, perform periodic audits of the Document Control systems, electronic and paper
Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge of design and production implementation is a plus

2-4 years of related Experience

Knowledge of (AGILE, ORACLE) is preferred
