Human Resources Representative
Job Purpose
This role requires a unique combination of strong interpersonal skills to manage employee relations and a deep understanding of HR systems and data analysis. With minimal supervision, provides support to managers/supervisors on employee relations matters including conflict resolution, corrective discipline, performance reviews, new hires, terminations and reductions in force. Assist HR manager with conducting investigations. Counsels employees on issues in the workplace. Exercises discretion and judgment in ER matters, policy interpretation and conflict resolution. Enforces company policy/procedures in accordance with local employment law.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the company’s HR Information System and other HR related software (e.g. ATS and payroll (ADP)).
- Utilize Excel skills or business intelligence tools to create dashboards and visualizations.
- Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis for various HR projects and initiatives.
- Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure smooth and organized recruitment pipeline.
- Works on issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
- Has the authority to make responsible decisions comparable to scope of position.
- Supports client groups with the talent pipeline requirements in line with recruitment strategy.
- Maintains close contact with the HR team to work in synchronization with the other business units.
- Recruits new employees by searching out and identifying potential candidates, adapting process using creativity and personal network when appropriate; conducts employment interviews to determine employability; advises on employment decisions; determines compensation packages in conjunction with management, considering all relevant factors; makes employment offers.
- May participate in cross-functional project teams.
- Builds relationships with, and co-ordinates the work of, external service providers & partners.

Education and Experience
- College/University degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated experience with HRIS administration and data analysis is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with reporting tools like Power BI or similar is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
- A collaborative and proactive mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
- May deliver training/communication sessions for employees and managers with respect to company programs, policies, or processes.
- Contributes to providing HR services that are appropriate to internal client needs, identifies new opportunities where HR can add value, and maintains leading-edge knowledge of HR issues.
- Supports managers to resolve employee relations, staffing, performance, or other issues.
- Understanding of compensation theories and practices.
- Provides interpretation, consultation and facilitation to employees and management in confidential employment issues to promote resolution.
- Processes paperwork and maintains information as required.
- Maintains employee files.
- Prepares, maintains and updates HR records, employee information, and related department data in accordance with established procedures, including performance reviews.
