Job Purpose:

The Picking Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily activities for Customer DOF picking functions required to fulfill customer's orders, managing all aspects of picking minimum of 32k items per week or 5.3k items a day, verifying and recording information related to transaction from stockroom or receiving to WIP, and providing leadership to picking personnel.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to, activities related to the pulling of materials from stockroom or receiving area while ensuring all system transactions in Customer's (Net suite) and Sanmina’s (Oracle) ERPs are properly executed.
  • Ensures materials been adequately handled while delivered to WIP for usage.
  • Ensures the packaging of the goods been delivered to the floor are in conformance with Customer's specifications, identifying and flagging discrepancies for resolution during WIP processing.
  • Work with Stockroom Supervisor and CC lead to define the best processes to accelerate materials picking and assure and accurate counting while picking when required by CC process
  • Ensures the security, accuracy, and accountability of materials been transacted under inventory control polices.
  • Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures.
  • Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Oversees the staff in physical or administrative tasks involved in the picking process to fulfill DOF orders.
  • Works with the personnel under him to make sure facility policies including quality, safety, conduct and attendance.
  • Assure process is within required controls 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience managing processes and people on any of the key warehouse flow functions, materials handling, receiving, MRB, stockroom, inventory control, shipping.
  • Must be proficient with ERP (Oracle, Net suite or SAP), Microsoft Office, desirably with Google Suite.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisor experience.
  • Crating and overpacking experience preferred.
  • FedEx, UPS, International shipments, and commercial invoices experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Must be a team player and capable of interacting with multiple groups both internal and external customers.
  • Must be flexible with schedule changes and work extended hours when required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Salary Range (annual): $70,304 - $80,000

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.  The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
